Good Relations is clean, beautifully arranged, and designed for the comfort and education of everyone who walks through our door. We are committed to your privacy – details about your sexuality or your purchases are yours alone.
We are feminists. We believe that good sex is everyone’s right, and that passion must be actively nourished in long-term relationships. Utmost care goes into every product we carry: what we sell must be safe, body-friendly, and genuinely good for people.
We are also a community resource. For over forty years, Good Relations has been a place where people can ask real questions and get knowledgeable, judgment-free answers. Our staff is here not just to sell, but to educate – whether you’re new to exploring your sexuality or simply looking for better information than the internet provides.
We believe that beautiful humans come in a variety of sizes, ages, ethnicities, and genders. Our inventory reflects that. We are committed to stocking products that serve the wide range of people who shop with us, and we work to avoid sexism and racism in everything we do.
It is our view that relationships matter – regardless of the genders or number of people involved. We support individuals and couples in relationships as they have defined them, and we enthusiastically celebrate everyone’s right to consensual pleasure.
Keeping the Happy in Humboldt since 1983
Dr. Melinda Myers opened Good Relations in December, 1983 as a home-based pleasure-party company. On May 23, 1995, after hosting 2000 parties (1000 of them herself), she opened our first boutique with a very part-time staff of two in Arcata. The first Eureka location opened at 308 2nd Street on June 27, 1998. Our new flagship location is larger, more accessible, and gorgeous.

Our ADA-accessible store is in the heart of Old Town Eureka, where we’ve been welcoming customers since 1983. We carry lingerie and intimate apparel for all bodies and genders, sizes XS–4X. Complimentary bra fittings are always available — we stock band sizes 28–46, and we’re happy to help find the right fit for every body.
Beyond lingerie, you’ll find body care, personal lubricants, and an extensive selection of adult toys, along with products for gender euphoria, pelvic floor wellness, and a carefully curated range of kink and BDSM accessories.
